Mentha Citrata oil is naturally extracted from ground parts of Plant, Mentha Citrata by steam distillation. The major constituents in Mentha Citrata oil are Linalyl Acetate, Linalool. It is also known as bergamot mint, horsemint, lemon mint, lime mint, orange mint, and pineapple mint. It is grown mainly in subtropical, fertile land such as northern India. Bergamot mint oil or lemon mint oil is mainly used in the perfumery industry. It has antiseptic, antidepressant, anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties.
