Know About Rosewood Oil:
It is native to the foothills of the Himalayas .In India it is usually grown in Haryana. It can also be found in the Bandipur National Park, Periyar National Park, Bandipur National Park and Sariska Tiger Reserve in India. The rosewood Grows well in deep, well-drained, moist soils.The rosewood is also called bois-de-rose. It is a tree that grows up to 30 to 40 meter tall. The botanical name of plant is Aniba rosaeodora, it belongs to Lauraceae family. It is commonly called as Brazilian Rosewood, rose wood tree. It has floral, Spicy, sweet woody, warm, fruity aroma. The shelf life of the oil is near about 4 years if we keep in dry place away from sunlight.

Extraction Method:
The oil is obtained through the wood of Aniba rosaeodora. The oil is derived through the steam distillation process.

Chemical Components:
The main chemical components of rosewood oil are camphene, a-pinene, geraniol, neral, limonene, geranial, myrcene, 1,8-cineole, linalool, benzaldehyde, linalool oxides and a-terpineol.

The rosewood oil blend with the Cedar wood, Peppermint oil, Cinnamon, Geranium Mandarin, Frankincense, Ylang Ylang, Bergamot oil, Orange, Lemon, Lavender, Black pepper etc.
