Description: Angelica is also known as Archangel Root, Masterwort, Wild Celery, Root of the Holy Ghost, and Dong Quai. This plant is aromatic and grows up to about six feet (2 meters) high and has dramatic spherical heads of tiny flowers.
Color: Light yellow to orange-brown viscous liquid.
Common Uses: Angelica Essential Oil is helpful in easing muscular aches, soothes arthritic joints and rheumatic pains. It also helpful in easing indigestion problems and flatulence, and improves poor appetite. Angelica is highly valued as a fragrance component in soaps, lotions and perfumes, especially oriental fragrances. Emotionally, Angelica Root Essential Oil is recommended for fatigue and stress related illnesses.

Cautions: Angelica essential oil is considered generally non-toxic and non-irritant; however it is a photo-toxic. After any application to the skin, avoid direct exposure to strong sunlight for up to 12 hours. Avoid during pregnancy.
